Maria Ruiz, Project Coordinator of the CREACT4MED project, and Senior Project Manager at EMEA, was featured on the Tunisian radio programme, Express FM, on Friday 1st December, discussing how to boost the orange economy (CCI) in the Southern Mediterranean.
In the discussion, she explained that supportive legislative frameworks must be developed in Southern Mediterranean countries to promote and facilitate the orange economy and startups working in the cultural field and creative industries. Another key approach to that end would be public-private partnerships in the region, going beyond the financial plan to provide technical and technological assistance for entrepreneurs working in the cultural field.
