Training is CREACT4MED’s second pillar. Under this pillar we are carrying out several activities: the CREACT4MED Training Programme, the Regional Alumni Network, and the CREACT4MED Summer School. These activities have the aim of capacity building and transferring skills to young and women entrepreneurs in the region working in the cultural and creative industries.
CREACT4MED Training Programme
As part of its activities, CREACT4MED offers a training programme, in partnership with the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) targetting young and women entrepreneurs in the region. The training aims to tackle the main aspects of running a business touching on business models, legal obstacles, financial considerations, and marketing strategies giving a comprehensive overview of how to run a successful CCI business.
The training programme offers an online course comprising both synchronous and asynchronous teaching, with a duration of around 6 weeks.
The first cycle was held in 2022 and a second cycle will be held in 2023. Check back to the website and the Calls and Tenders section to see how you can apply and find details about the course using the button below.
Regional Alumni Network
Participants who successfully completed the training course became part of the Regional Alumni Network which offers opportunities for further exchanges between peers and with regional and international key players and experts (e.g. from Europe, USA, etc.). This is closley linked with the MED CCI Hub which offers networking opportunities, capacity building, enhanced visibility, and access to regional events and financial providers.
CREACT4MED Summer School
The CREACT4MED project will organise a summer school together with StartUB, Universitat de Barcelona to take place in September 2023. It will last one week and will provide intensive sessions on the creative and cultural industries to the entrepreneurs selected under the project.
